Applicants must have 2 years recent bank teller or cash handling experience and be able to work a flexible 25 hr. per week schedule. Bank Accountant - Village Bank has an immediate opening for a staff accountant with a 4 year accounting degree, minimum of 2 years accounting practice and proficiency in Microsoft Office. This full time position is responsible for all Bank accounting and some Mortgage related accounting. The Staff Accountant will ensure all bank transactions are properly handled, reconcile accounts, prepare journal entries and monthly reports, and assist with month end closing and quarterly audits. This individual must be detail oriented, able to multi-task and work with minimum supervision. Business attire is required.
