Village Bank Debit Card

Here's what you need to know about your Village Bank Debit Card.

Looks like a VISA® and works better than a check, giving you
quick, convenient access to your checking account.


To Activate your Debit Card: Please call 1-866-985-2273. Your card must be activated before you use it and you must call from the telephone number you provided to Village Bank as your Home phone when you established your account for security purposes.

To Report a Lost or Stolen Debit Card: Call 1-800-523-4175 available seven days a week/24 hour service.

Traveling?
Please notify us ahead of time via email to Villagecustomercare@villagebank.com. You will need to provide the start and end dates of your trip as well as your destination(s) in order to avoid a potential disruption in service.

If you Suspect Fraud: Please contact our Customer Care Team at (804) 419-8919 Monday through Friday during our regular business hours of 8:30 am to 5:00 pm. You may also contact us via email at Villagecustomercare@villagebank.com. Please call 1-800-523-4175 for assistance outside of regular business hours.

To Change Your Personal Identification Number (PIN): Please visit one of our following locations for assistance.

Limits: Your debit card has a maximum dollar limit on in-person transactions and when the card is not present (CNP) such as purchases made by internet or phone. Standard limits are as follows:

Personal Cards - In Person $1500        CNP $1000
Business Cards - In Person $2000        CNP $1000

If you would like to increase your limits, please contact your branch (subject to approval.)

Expiring Cards: Replacement debit cards are generated on the 15th of the month preceding expiration. They are mailed in a plain white envelope and Village Bank will not be printed on the envelope. Only our address of 15521 Midlothian Turnpike, Midlothian VA 23113 will appear. This is a security measure so please don't misidentify your new card as junk mail.

Lost Cards: There is a $20 fee to replace your card if it is stolen or lost.

New Cards: New cards may take up to 14 business days to arrive. Your PIN will arrive in a separate envelope. Both are mailed in plain white envelopes for security reasons. Only our address of 15521 Midlothian Turnpike, Midlothian VA 23113 will appear. Rush orders are assessed a $60.00 fee and take approximately three business days for delivery.

CVV: Your debit card has a three digit Card Verification Value or CVV. This helps validate that your card is authentic in situations such as mail orders, telephone orders or internet orders where the card is not present.

Village Bank is proud to now offer a College Credit Card for college students and a Platinum Card with a joint application for individuals 18 years of age and older who may rely on other sources of income.

• The College Credit Card is designed for individuals attending school who have an independent ability to repay their credit card balances. Applications are available at all Village Bank locations as well as online.
