  A great way to teach children good savings habits. This savings account is designed just for minors and must be signed for by a custodian. Once deposited, funds become the asset of the minor.

  • Minimum opening deposit $1.00.
  • Account can be opened with sole or joint custodian.
  • Competitive tiered interest rates.
  • Interest compounded daily and paid monthly on collected balances.
  • Maximum of six (6) transfers or withdrawals each month, that can be made by ACH, telephone or similar order made payable to third parties.
  • Balances in excess of $10,000 will result in a lower interest rate and APY.

  • Minimum opening deposit $50.00.

  • Interest compounded daily and paid monthly on collected balances.
  • Free money market checks with a Village Platinum Checking account.
  • Maximum of six (6) transactions or withdrawals per month, that can be made by check, ACH, telephone, or similar order made payable to third parties.
  • Service fee for each transaction or transfer in excess of monthly limit.
  • Unlimited transactions and withdrawals of funds at any Village Bank location, ATM, or by mail.
  • No monthly service fee if the minimum daily balance requirement of $2,500 is met.
